India vs Afghanistan: When and where to watch Asian Games cricket quarterfinal

Shreyas Iyer leads India into their opening defense of the men's cricket gold medal at the Asian Games quarter-finals against Afghanistan, following a direct qualification earned through their top-ranked T20I status. The Indian squad boasts power hitters like Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Tilak Varma alongside bowling options including Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and Ravi Bishnoi, while uncertainty remains regarding Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's inclusion.

Afghanistan advanced to this knockout stage as Group A runners-up after defeating host nation Japan behind standout bowling performances from Arab Gul Momand and Nangeyalia Kharote, followed by a rain-affected no-result against Nepal under the leadership of Darwish Rasooli, Karim Janat, and Najibullah Zadran. The match is scheduled for Monday, September 28, beginning at 10:30 AM IST and 2 PM local time, with live television broadcasts on Sony Sports Network and streaming available via Sony LIV.
