Indian left-arm spinner Sree Charani has established a new all-time benchmark in the ICC Women’s T20I bowling lists by reaching 817 rating points. Her impressive spell of two wickets for thirteen runs during the Asian Games title clash against Sri Lanka propelled her past the previous record held by Australia's Megan Schutt since late 2018.
Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh also saw significant improvements in the batting standings following strong performances in the continental tournament, while several Pakistani and Bangladeshi players made notable gains in both batting and bowling departments.
In the ODI updates, West Indies captain Hayley Matthews advanced to fourth among batters after compiling a career-best 182 against Zimbabwe during an ICC Women’s Championship fixture. Zimbabwe skipper Modester Mupachikwa likewise climbed the batting ladder following strong scores in the opening fixtures of the series, which stood level at one game apiece.
