IND-A vs AUS-A: Murphy, Rocchiccioli help Australia push India back on Day 2 of unofficial Test

During the second unofficial Test, Australia-A seized control over India-A as bowlers Todd Murphy and Corey Rocchiccioli dismantled the host batting lineup in Puducherry. India-A finished the second day struggling at 122 for five, trailing the touring side by 236 runs with five wickets remaining in their first innings.

Earlier in the match, Sam Harper anchored the Australian effort with an impressive score of 128 runs, bolstered by a useful contribution from teammate Jhye Richardson.

Top-order batters Devdutt Padikkal and B. Sai Sudharsan failed to steady the innings as the spin duo utilized clever variations and extra bounce to trap the home batsmen.

Ayush Pandey, Yash Rathod, and Kumar Kushagra also fell cheaply under the pressure. Despite Shaik Rasheed holding firm on 36 not out near the end of the day, India-A remains in deep trouble heading into the subsequent sessions.
