Following a difficult 2025 campaign that concluded with a 6-11 record and no postseason berth, Kansas City supporters are anticipating a wild-card position for the franchise in 2026, according to a Week 1 poll. The previous year was derailed in part by Patrick Mahomes suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament late in the schedule, an injury comparable to the one sustained by Green Bay standout Micah Parsons.
