In a fresh blow to Pakistan cricket, bowling coach Ashley Noffke departs for the Netherlands head coach role

Pakistan cricket has suffered another setback after white-ball bowling coach Ashley Noffke resigned to take over as the head coach of the Netherlands. Noffke, whose previous deal was scheduled to run through June 2027, will conclude his tenure following the 2026 Asian Games.

The departure follows a tumultuous tour of England that featured three Test defeats, the dismissal of Test head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul, and subsequent scrutiny surrounding players Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq.
