The fifth iteration of the International League T20, scheduled for November 21 through December 20, 2026, is implementing major regulatory updates. These include a new batter zone for wide ball adjudication and a 60-second stop clock that now applies to batting sides as well as fielding units.
Penalties for exceeding the clock will result in five-run deductions starting from the third violation per innings, though specific delays like injury or reviews are excluded.
Squad composition requirements have also been updated to mandate the inclusion of two cricketers from the UAE, two from Afghanistan, and one from an ICC Associate nation in every starting lineup. These roster rules remain in effect throughout the duration of the tournament, including during any tactical substitutions or concussion-related replacements.
