
The regular season for girls flag football across Illinois has officially wrapped up, paving the way for postseason action to begin with regional quarterfinals scheduled for Tuesday, September 29. The road to the state title will culminate with the semifinals and championship game on Saturday, October 17.
Entering the playoffs, the landscape at the top of the Super 10 power rankings shifted as Willowbrook ceded the number one spot after holding it for the vast majority of the fall campaign.
St. Charles North has seized the top ranking entering the postseason carrying an unblemished 19-0 record, bumping Willowbrook down to second place despite their impressive 15-1 mark.
Glenbrook South holds the third spot at 14-0, followed closely by Prospect in fourth at 14-0 and Evanston rounding out the top five with a 14-2 record. The rest of the top ten features Kenwood at sixth, Taft seventh, newcomers Crystal Lake South in the eighth position, Fremd ninth, and Maine South rounding out the list at tenth place.
