Il Lombardia: Paul Seixas puts in stunning solo ride to claim first Monument

Paul Seixas made history at Il Lombardia by securing a solo victory 18 kilometers from the finish. At 20 years old, the Frenchman became the youngest winner of the race and the fourth youngest rider to claim a Monument.

Enric Mas finished in second place after breaking away from Giulio Ciccone, who took third. Remco Evenepoel rounded out the top four after leading the chase group.

The race began with a delayed start due to a rider protest regarding safety, followed by an early breakaway that included Michael Leonard before the final decisive move.
