The global governing body for cricket has introduced a slate of updated regulations governing multiple formats, slated to take effect from the start of October. Under the revised guidelines, slow-moving batsmen will face progressive warnings before yielding penalty runs to the opposing side, while fielding squads must demonstrate definitive possession of the ball during run-out and stumping attempts.
Additional modifications permit daylight Test matches to utilize colored spheres through mutual consent and mandate the completion of remaining deliveries in a final over following a dismissal.
