In a recent discussion with Managing Madrid, former defender Ian Harte reflected on the reputations surrounding elite set-piece specialists during his playing days. He noted that observers frequently compared his prowess to that of David Beckham.

Despite those flattering parallels, Harte insisted that Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos operated in an entirely separate tier above them both.
