How The Canucks Plan On Learning From Their Recent 9-7 Loss To The Oilers

Following a wild 9-7 defeat against the Edmonton Oilers during their home opener, the Vancouver Canucks are looking back at a contest filled with extreme momentum shifts. After falling behind 8-2 in the second frame, Vancouver rallied to score five consecutive tallies before ultimately dropping the decision at Rogers Arena.

Defenceman Jamie Oleksiak noted that while the early defensive breakdowns must be addressed, the group displayed admirable persistence by refusing to fold under pressure. Head coach Manny Malhotra intends to treat the high-scoring affair like any other fixture by reviewing positive habits and correcting mistakes on video before the team resumes its hectic October slate.
