How Oklahoma's John Mateer turned near touchdown to Georgia scoop-and-score

Oklahoma suffered a disastrous opening half against Georgia, falling behind 28-0 at the intermission after a cascade of offensive miscues. Quarterback John Mateer lost control of the ball during a play-action attempt near the goal line, allowing defender Chris Cole to scoop up the fumble and race 86 yards for a defensive touchdown.

Shortly after, Mateer threw an interception to safety KJ Bolden and coughed up another fumble later in the half, which Cole again returned deep into Oklahoma territory to set up another score.
