Horns up, horns down for Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions

Josh Allen delivered a standout performance to propel the Buffalo Bills past the Detroit Lions in a 41-31 victory on Thursday Night Football. Playing in their brand-new stadium to kick off Week 2, Buffalo fought through several injuries while Allen made league history and generated five total touchdowns against Detroit's defense.

Tailback James Cook also established his groove in the offensive barrage opposite Jared Goff and the visiting Lions.

The home triumph followed Buffalo's opening-week matchup against Houston. Meanwhile, Cook had previously carried the ball against the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium during the fourth quarter of an earlier September contest in Orchard Park.
