Hope is doing well without taking much risk: Samson

Sanju Samson delivered a rapid 20-ball half-century during India's pursuit of a 248-run target against the West Indies, though the hosts ultimately fell 24 runs short. Despite a late rally from Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar, the visitors secured the victory behind an unbeaten century from Shai Hope.

Samson expressed disappointment in the result but praised Hope for his controlled and effective batting approach throughout the match. The contest took place in Hyderabad on October 14, 2026.
