Honda replaces F1 power unit boss in organisation shuffle

Honda has reorganized the leadership behind its Formula 1 engine operations as the manufacturer prepares to supply Aston Martin and push back toward the front of the grid. Under the new arrangement, Tetsushi Kakuda will step down from his role overseeing power unit development.

Yoichiro Fukao, who currently serves as Kakuda's deputy, will officially take charge of the project starting on October 1. Honda Racing Corporation confirmed the transition, stating that the managerial swap had been prearranged.
