Heroes, zeros from Giants’ win over the Titans: Key Robert Saleh decision comes back to bite him

Jevón Holland secured a 12-7 victory for the New York Giants over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday by intercepting a pass from Cam Ward in the end zone during the final minute. The decisive sequence followed a missed 59-yard field goal attempt by Joey Slye, a gamble by Tennessee coach Robert Saleh that backfired when the Giants capitalized with a late score of their own before halftime.

Giants coach John Harbaugh praised quarterback Jameis Winston for doing what was necessary to guide the squad to its second win in three weeks, while punter Jordan Stout excelled in the rainy conditions by averaging 50.5 yards per kick.
