Havertz returning to Arsenal after suffering injury with Germany

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz is heading back to his club for medical evaluation following a minor muscle strain sustained during international duty. The attacker was forced off during the first half of a fixture in Amsterdam after a challenge from Quinten Timber, missing the remainder of the scheduled matches for his national team.

Germany manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that MRI scans were underway for both Havertz and Jamal Musiala to determine the extent of their respective physical setbacks.
