Haunted October 2026, Episode 4: The Golf Club Where a Ghost Allegedly Threw a Coat Hanger

The fourth installment of the 2026 Haunted October series focuses on a specific golf club where witnesses claim a spectral figure launched a coat hanger at them. This entry follows previous reports in the series that documented a massive creature sighting near the 15th hole at a Georgia country club, a teen caddie leading explorers into the woods at Washington’s Beacon Rock Golf Course, and an odd incident during an Oktoberfest celebration near Great Gorge, New Jersey.

The ongoing column, which began in 2025, blends paranormal folklore with golf history, having previously covered topics ranging from the White Witch of Jamaica to the competitive chokes that still haunt the sport’s memory.
