Hampden debut to forget but Pocognoli looks at bigger picture

Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli suffered a difficult first outing at Hampden Park as his side fell to a 3-0 defeat against Switzerland in the Nations League. Following a scoreless stalemate in Ljubljana days prior, the hosts faced an uphill battle when Jack Hendry was sent off in the 11th minute.

Ricardo Rodriguez converted the ensuing free kick to put the visitors ahead, before Nico Elvedi and Zeki Amdouni extended the advantage after the break. Sitting third in their group, the squad must now prepare for upcoming fixtures against North Macedonia and Slovenia.
