Isack Hadjar criticized Red Bull's clutch mechanism after slipping from third to fifth place at the start of the United States Grand Prix, ultimately finishing sixth. He described the component as fragile and unable to handle temperature changes, noting that over-delivery issues occurred despite his correct execution of the launch procedure.
Hadjar also voiced frustration over poor radio communication and incorrect car settings upon exiting the pits, which he claimed caused him to lose a second per lap on the hard tyre. Teammate Max Verstappen, who placed third, acknowledged similar starting difficulties and inconsistent power unit performance, while admitting the car lacked the pace to challenge Kimi Antonelli for victory.
