Gurnoor Brar credits Shubman Gill for backing him after POTM performance against New Zealand

Gurnoor Brar delivered a standout performance in the second ODI against New Zealand on November 7, securing Player of the Match honors. The pacer claimed four wickets while conceding only 30 runs across his full ten-over spell, which included two maidens.

Brar attributed his success to a disciplined approach of hitting consistent lengths and mixing in bouncers, while also crediting the guidance he received from senior teammates like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Umesh Yadav. The bowler emphasized the importance of the support he received from the team management and captain Shubman Gill, noting that their confidence in his abilities helped him maintain his focus despite earlier struggles in his international career.
