Guirassy double and late own goal seals frantic Dortmund win

Borussia Dortmund emerged victorious against Villarreal in an eventful contest held at Signal Iduna Park. The decisive contributions came following the halftime break, when forward Serhou Guirassy struck twice to push the home side in front.

The closing stages grew unexpectedly tense after Guirassy accidentally put the ball past his own goalkeeper. Despite that misstep handing momentum to the visitors, Dortmund held on in the frantic final moments to claim the victory.
