Gophers Coach PJ Fleck Goes Wild Before Michigan Game [Watch]

Minnesota Golden Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck brought high-energy enthusiasm to Saturday's pre-game festivities by crowd-surfing during a live broadcast prior to facing Michigan.

The appearance followed a narrow twenty-seven to twenty-four victory over Washington last week, giving Fleck's squad momentum heading into their latest contest against the Wolverines. Maverick Baranowski also drew attention after the previous win when Fleck embraced the linebacker and smeared blood from the player's face onto his own cheek, a gesture the coach later addressed on television.

Meanwhile, the opening minutes of Saturday's matchup saw the Gophers defense make a crucial stop before running back Darius Taylor punched in an early touchdown.
