Glamorgan great Ingram retires for coaching role

Glamorgan's veteran South African batter Colin Ingram has announced his retirement from playing at the conclusion of the current campaign, concluding a successful two-decade journey in professional cricket. The 41-year-old will immediately transition into a coaching position as he steps away from the crease.

Throughout his eleven seasons with the county side, Ingram established himself as a fixture of the squad, earning recognition as their premier overseas player of the twenty-first century and guiding them back to higher division status with stellar performances at the plate.
