Northamptonshire all-rounder Miller extends deal

Gus Miller has committed his future to Northamptonshire by agreeing to a one-year contract extension that runs through the conclusion of 2027. The twenty-four-year-old academy product has accumulated thirty-six appearances across all formats since making his initial appearance against India in a 2002 tour fixture.

During the recent season, Miller contributed to a T20 Blast tournament victory and partnered with Ricardo Vasconcelos at the top of the batting order in the One-Day Cup, finishing that competition as the Steelbacks' third-leading run-getter with 212 runs.

Head coach Darren Lehmann expressed satisfaction with retaining the all-rounder, highlighting his positive influence within the dressing room and his encouraging on-field displays. Miller himself described remaining with the squad as an honor and stated his intention to continually enhance his game while pushing for regular first-team opportunities.

Northamptonshire officials confirmed the updated agreement keeps the player secured at the county for at least another twelve months.
