Giants sign wide receiver Dalen Cambre from practice squad with Malik Nabers questionable

The New York Giants elevated wideout and special teamer Dalen Cambre from their reserve unit to the 53-man squad on Saturday. The transaction comes as primary receiver Malik Nabers remains questionable for the Week 1 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys due to a knee issue, leaving his availability in serious doubt.

Nabers took part fully in several practice sessions leading up to the game as he works back from torn knee ligaments suffered late in 2025. Even with those workout reps under his belt, Nabers declined to guarantee his participation for Sunday, leaving the organization to weigh their lineup options by adding Cambre to the gameday mix.
