Giants sign QB Jake Haener to active roster ahead of Sunday's game vs. Titans

Following a season-ending injury to Jaxson Dart during the second week of action, the Giants added quarterback Jake Haener to their primary roster prior to their upcoming weekend contest against the Tennessee Titans. Haener is scheduled to act as the primary reserve behind Jameis Winston for the Week 3 fixture.

In his third campaign in the league and his initial year with his current franchise, the twenty-seven-year-old product of Fresno State brings prior experience from eight appearances during the previous year. During those outings, he accumulated twenty-two dozen yards through eighteen completions on thirty-nine total attempts, alongside one touchdown pass and one interception.

He also logged two exhibition appearances for the organization over the summer, highlighted by a strong outing against the Jets where he connected on six of seven throws for one hundred one yards and a score.
