Gaud penalised for giving send-off to Imesha Dulani in Asia Cup final

Members of the Pakistan cricket squad have incurred financial penalties following their semi-final clash with Sri Lanka. Due to an insufficient bowling pace during the contest, each team member was docked five percent of their earnings for the fixture.

In addition to the over-rate sanctions from the tournament's knockout stage, disciplinary action was also taken regarding the Asia Cup final. In that decisive match, Gaud received a penalty after delivering a send-off to Sri Lankan batter Imesha Dulani.
