Gateshead expect players to be paid on Tuesday

Interim chairman Graham Wood has confirmed that staff and players at Gateshead should receive their September salaries by Tuesday. The delay stems from international banking processes following a financial injection from the Flacks Group, which recently reached an agreement to acquire the club.

On the field, the team is struggling at the base of the National League standings after a 4-1 loss against Halifax Town. This result marked their eleventh defeat in thirteen league outings this campaign.

The club is currently searching for a new manager after parting ways with Lee Cattermole earlier this month, who managed only a single victory during his brief tenure.
