The 2026 NFL season will feature a standard 17-game slate for each of the league’s 32 teams, with one bye week assigned to every franchise. The bye weeks are spread across the middle of the schedule, running from Week 5 through Week 14, giving fans and fantasy managers key rest periods to strategize.
Early in the season, the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs will take their breaks in Week 5, while Week 6 sees the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Minnesota Vikings sit out. Week 7’s bye week roster includes the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders, followed by the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers in Week 8.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans will rest in Week 9, while the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers get their bye in Week 10. The final stretch of bye weeks arrives in Weeks 11 through 14, with the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, and Seattle Seahawks all receiving time off during this period.
