Florida State has expanded its recruiting board for the 2028 cycle by reaching out to defensive prospect Cyrus Zuah, a linebacker based in Maryland. The talented defender shared news of the scholarship proposal through his social media accounts, adding to a lengthy sheet of prospective opportunities that already features major programs such as Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Auburn, Nebraska, and Virginia Tech.
Evaluated as a three-star recruit, Zuah holds national rankings placing him among the top linebackers and overall players in the country, alongside standing as one of the premier talents within his home state.
Position coach Ernie Sims and the coaching staff are continuing efforts to bolster the linebacker unit following previous commitments in the 2027 class like Jernard Albright, CJ Ohuabunwa, and Olrick Johnson III. Meanwhile, the broader 2028 class for the program currently holds commitments from edge rusher Meshi Dobson, athlete Chayse Brown, and tight end Troy Silberzahn.
Landing a prospect with Zuah's extensive list of suitors would provide an additional boost to a group that currently ranks ninth nationally for the cycle.
