Fourth-down fizzles doom Michigan State football in loss to Wisconsin

Michigan State dropped to two wins and three losses overall following a thirty-one to three defeat against Wisconsin on Saturday, October third. The Spartans struggled mightily on fourth-down conversions, failing on five separate occasions during the contest hosted in Madison.

Backup quarterback Cam Fancher exited the matchup during the second half due to an apparent right knee injury, adding further to the team's ongoing physical setbacks.
