Former India wicketkeeper batsman Vijay Dahiya to coach Delhi in the upcoming domestic season; it's his second stint

Vijay Dahiya has assumed the role of head coach for the Delhi senior men squad ahead of the upcoming domestic calendar, taking over leadership duties from Sarandeep Singh. This appointment marks his second tenure with the team, having previously guided them to a Ranji Trophy championship back in the 2007-08 campaign.

Alongside his arrival, the association announced several supporting staff selections, bringing in Sanjeev Sharma and Parwinder Awana as bowling coaches while naming Kshitiz Sharma and Kuldeep Rawat as assistants. KP Bhaskar will head the selection panel alongside colleagues Manu Nayar and Praveen Gupta.

The squad faces a challenging period following years of declining results across multi-day and limited-overs competitions, coupled with lackluster campaigns by their Indian Premier League affiliate. Dahiya arrives after serving as an assistant coach for the runners-up finish earlier in the year.
