Dhruv Jurel reveals what triggered Yashavi Jaiswal’s clash with Asitha Fernando

During the second Test match held in Colombo, Yashasvi Jaiswal became involved in a tense on-field confrontation with Asitha Fernando following a dismissal. India wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel later explained that the batter faced continuous verbal taunts from Fernando after walking back.

Although the young Indian player accepted standard competitive talk, he drew the line at personal insults. The situation escalated to the point where teammates had to intervene and pull the two apart.
