Former engineer urges F1 to introduce "augmented" stewarding group to speed up decisions

Formula 1 needs a technological and personnel upgrade for its race officials, according to former technical staff member Rob Smedley. During a podcast episode featuring Jake Humphrey and Otmar Szafnauer, the veteran engineer suggested implementing an assisted officiating panel to resolve track incidents much faster.
