The Tennessee Titans have parted ways with defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following an unspecified incident at the team facility on October 15. Elliott, a former third-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2020 NFL Draft, had spent four seasons with the Browns before joining the San Francisco 49ers and later signing a two-year, $8 million deal with the Titans this offseason.
The release removes a key rotational player from Tennessee’s defensive line, where Elliott had logged 114 snaps this season. His departure also marks the end of a brief reunion with his former 49ers defensive coordinator, Robert Saleh, who now leads the Titans.
The Browns, Elliott’s original team, will face the Titans in Week 7 without their former player on the field.
