Julius Randle has found a fresh start in Brooklyn, where he feels genuinely appreciated by the organization and head coach Jordi Fernandez. This transition follows a period in Minnesota where head coach Chris Finch suggested the team traded away moodiness for the giddiness brought by LaMelo Ball.
While Finch previously admitted fault for mismanaging Randle's role, the veteran forward remains focused on his production, having maintained career averages of 21.7 points and 8.9 rebounds over the last eight seasons. During that span, the 31-year-old has earned three All-Star selections, two All-NBA honors, and a Most Improved Player award.
The complex series of trades that landed Randle in Brooklyn also involved the departures of Nic Claxton, Naz Reid, and Jaden McDaniels.
