FCS Week 5 Game of the Week: South Dakota State Jackrabbits @ Illinois State Redbirds: How to Watch, Preview, Predictions

Top-ranked FCS contenders face off this Saturday evening as the second-ranked South Dakota State Jackrabbits travel to battle the tenth-ranked Illinois State Redbirds. Illinois State enters this crucial Missouri Valley matchup looking to bounce back from an unexpected twenty-eight to twenty-one defeat against Northern Iowa last weekend.

Meanwhile, South Dakota State arrives with a four and one record following a victory over Eastern Illinois, though the Jackrabbits must once again play without their starting quarterback. Redbirds head coach Brock Spack brings years of extensive program success into the contest, while second-year Jackrabbits head leader Dan Jackson seeks his first career victory against their conference rivals.

Illinois State quarterback Gage Roy aims to maintain his zero-interception streak through the air against a visiting defense that has recorded just one pick this season.
