Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon is listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against Arkansas, following a right shoulder injury sustained during a 20-17 defeat to No. 1 Texas on September 26.
Although media reports indicated that backup George MacIntyre would make his first career start, head coach Josh Heupel has not confirmed the decision. The SEC availability report also flags running back Javin Gordon as questionable with a leg issue and defensive lineman Kedric Golston as out with a lower leg injury.
The No. 14 Vols (4-1, 1-1 SEC) face the Razorbacks (2-3, 0-2 SEC) at 4:15 p.m.
ET on October 10 in Fayetteville, with the injury status set to be updated daily until 90 minutes before kickoff.
Tennessee has already lost seven players for the season, including starting left guard Wendell Moe, safety Edrees Farooq, tight end Ethan Davis, safety Dylan Lewis, wide receiver Joakim Dodson, linebacker Jaedon Harmon, and cornerback Jadais Richard. On the Arkansas side, defensive lineman Steven Soles Jr.
is questionable while tight end Maddox Lassiter is out.
