F1 pundit slams Franco Colapinto's "outrageous" Baku crash but rejects Lando Norris's race ban call

Former McLaren mechanic Marc Priestley has heavily criticized Franco Colapinto for a Turn 1 collision during a safety car restart at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, describing the maneuver as outrageous. The incident resulted in contact with Alpine team-mate Pierre Gasly after a lock-up.

Despite the severity of the crash, Priestley disagreed with Lando Norris's suggestion that the Alpine driver should receive a race ban.
