F1 drivers push for Madring changes after "very poor" Spanish GP: "I almost fell asleep"

Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, several Formula 1 competitors voiced serious concerns about the circuit layout, which were ultimately confirmed during the race. Max Verstappen remarked on Saturday to Dutch press that he identified zero viable spots to pass another car, offering to redesign the circuit himself if handed the layout diagram.

Those pre-race worries materialized during Sunday's Grand Prix, where passing competitors turned out to be nearly unobtainable. The severe lack of on-track action prompted strong dissatisfaction throughout the paddock.
