Explosive plays, special teams miscue Raiders’ undoing in loss to Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 4-0 in the AFC West following a 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite a halftime prediction of victory from Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak, his team fell short after allowing two long scoring plays and a turnover on special teams.

Patrick Mahomes connected with Tyquan Thornton for a touchdown, while running back Walker contributed a 76-yard carry that set up the Chiefs' offense. This loss marks the first defeat for Kubiak, who now faces a challenging upcoming schedule that includes matchups against the Patriots, Bills, Rams, and Jets.

Raiders cornerback Taron Johnson was noted for his defensive effort in chasing down Walker during the game.
