Everton Interest In Brazilian Striker Confirmed: Is A £43m Fee Wise?

Everton is currently evaluating a potential move for Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque as they look to bolster their attacking options. While the club's representative André Cury has acknowledged interest in the 21-year-old, the proposed £43 million transfer fee remains a significant hurdle given the team's ongoing financial constraints and the ownership's current plans for a potential sale.
Manager David Moyes has successfully guided the squad to fifth place in the Premier League, recently marking his 592nd match in charge with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City. Despite this success, the squad remains thin, with Thierno Barry serving as the primary striker and limited depth available behind him.
Financial regulations and the need for defensive reinforcements make a high-cost acquisition like Roque a difficult proposition for the club at this time.
