Eric Collins brought his trademark excitability to Bengals-Dolphins in return to NFL booth

Charlotte Hornets broadcaster Eric Collins returned to NFL play-by-play for the second time this season, delivering his signature high-energy calls during Sunday’s Bengals-Dolphins matchup. Known for his effusive reactions to every play—big or small—Collins’ enthusiasm reached new heights on a deep touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase, where his exclamations like *“AAAAaaaaoooooHhhhhhh!

Ja’Marr Chase you’re kiddinggggggg!!!”* became an instant highlight. Though the game itself was a low-stakes Week 5 contest, Collins’ limited NFL exposure so far has kept his calls fresh, with fans and critics alike divided but many embracing his bold, unfiltered style as a welcome contrast to more reserved booth approaches.

The experiment has sparked calls for him to take on a regular NFL role, though his polarizing approach may not suit every audience.
