Philadelphia dropped a 27-7 decision to Chicago on Monday night after struggling mightily on offense. Third-string signal-caller Case Keenum guided the visitors to victory by completing 24 of 34 pass attempts for 247 yards and two touchdowns without an interception.
Conversely, Jalen Hurts managed just 153 passing yards on 16 completions as the Eagles fell to a disappointing defeat.
During the contest, Hurts was forced to exit briefly for a concussion check following a late hit from D'Marco Jackson, which temporarily stalled the home team's momentum. While the quarterback was sidelined, a goal-line interception by Dillon Thieneman thwarted a prime scoring opportunity before halftime.
Head coach Nick Sirianni later acknowledged the frustration surrounding the mandatory medical evaluation as his squad dropped to an uneven record.
