Eagles News: Sean Mannion is focused on running the ball

Ahead of their regular-season kickoff against Washington, Philadelphia offensive coordinator Sean Mannion intends to make the ground game a primary focal point. Mannion, a former journeyman quarterback who recently pivoted to coaching, will orchestrate an attack featuring tailback Saquon Barkley and starting passer Jalen Hurts.

The divisional clash at Lincoln Financial Field also pits Mannion against another former reserve signal-caller in Washington offensive coordinator David Blough.
