Dream news: Atlanta sweeps Mystics to end embarrassing playoff streak

The Atlanta franchise has advanced to the next round of the postseason following a decisive 93-75 victory over Washington in the second contest of their opening series. Allisha Gray paced the winning effort with twenty-two points, complemented by nineteen points and eleven assists from Jordin Canada, while Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard each chipped in fifteen points.

With this sweep, the victors halted a three-year opening round elimination slump and secured their initial semifinal appearance since the 2018 campaign. Despite a third quarter push from the opposition that narrowed the margin to three, a dominant scoring run solidified the triumph before a matchup with New York.
