Donnarumma: Man City are not in transition, it's going to be a great season

Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has pushed back against the narrative that his side is undergoing a rebuilding phase following a flawless four-match opening to the Premier League campaign. Speaking after the recent Manchester Derby victory, the Italian international expressed admiration for his squad's resilience during difficult moments, despite losing several veterans of a previous successful era including Pep Guardiola, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, and Rodri.
Alongside teammates Ruben Dias, Erling Haaland, and Marc Guehi, Donnarumma now anchors a newly established leadership group tasked with maintaining high standards as newer additions like Ayyoub Bouaddi, Elliot Anderson, and Iliman Ndiaye settle into the club under Enzo Maresca.
