Dolphins sign linebacker to main roster; add offensive lineman to practice squad

The Miami Dolphins made a pair of roster adjustments early in the week, bringing in fresh depth for both the active squad and the practice unit. Linebacker Shaka Heyward was acquired directly from the Cincinnati Bengals and will occupy a spot on the active roster for at least three consecutive weeks.

Guard James Ester was brought back to fill an opening on the practice squad following previous stints with the organization earlier in the year. The team prepares for an upcoming road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
