Did Notre Dame move out of No. 3 spot in USAT's Re-Rank after Week 5?

Notre Dame maintained its third-place standing in the latest USA TODAY Sports NCAA Re-Rank following the fifth week of the college football season. The top five spots in the list remained completely unchanged, keeping Georgia, Texas, Miami, and Ohio State locked in their previous positions alongside the Fighting Irish.

The team enters its upcoming fixture carrying momentum from a thirty-seven to twenty-six triumph over North Carolina. Meanwhile, their upcoming opponents from Stanford are preparing to bounce back after suffering a lopsided fifty-seven to three defeat against Wake Forest.
